IMANI WELCOMES SHONDRA McCLARY TO THE CAST OF "PUT THAT WOMAN FIRST" IN THE ROLE OF "DEBBIE JOHNSON" ALSO IMANI WELCOMES GERLANDER BOST WHO HAS BEEN CASTED IN THE ROLE "OLIVIA BROWN" AND ERICA KELLAM WHO IS THE UNDERSTUDY FOR THE ROLES OF "MICHELLE AND DEBBIE" IN THE PLAY.
Shondra was the House Manager of the play in the spring of 2006. " I am very excited about working with Shondra as an actress, she is super talented and sings beautifully!" says Michael Yawn.
Gerlander, affectionately known as "G" will be making her acting debut with Imani in "Put That Woman First." Michael Yawn saids, "She has great stage prescence and her natural talent will create unlimited heights for her in theatre. "G" is the "Olivia I was searching for."
"Erica is like a beautiful flower ready to bloom on stage and she will very soon. Erica and I go way back to when I produced talent shows in the 90's. She is blessed to sing with passion and power...and acting is just more sunshine on Erica's resume', I am extremely pleased to have her as a member of Imani Theatre Ensemble," says Michael Yawn.
